Two very different surfaces, one visit. That's what this job was all about. We tackled a full house soft wash on the exterior siding along with a complete cleaning of a large flagstone patio out back. Each surface needs its own approach, and getting that right is what separates a clean result from a damaged one.
For the house, soft washing is the only way to go. High pressure on siding can crack it, force water behind it, or strip paint. Soft washing uses a low-pressure application with a cleaning solution that actually kills the algae, mold, and grime at the source - instead of just blasting it off temporarily. The trim, soffits, and siding all came out looking sharp without any risk to the surface underneath.
The flagstone patio was a different challenge. Natural stone like this holds onto organic growth in the joints and across the surface itself. It builds up slowly, so most homeowners don't even notice how bad it's gotten until they see the before. We worked through the entire patio surface to pull that buildup out and bring the natural color and texture of the stone back.
The wood deck stairs connecting to the patio got attention too. You can see the difference in the wood grain once the grime layer is lifted - it just looks cleaner and more solid. We don't skip the small stuff, because it all adds up to how the space feels when you're actually using it.
When both the house exterior and the outdoor living area are cleaned at the same time, the whole property just looks put together. It's the kind of thing neighbors notice and guests comment on. Clean surfaces also last longer - mold and algae will eat into paint, siding, and stone over time if you let them sit.
